LEGAL ASSOCIATE

At the Law Office of Lily Thomas and Saju Jakob, a Legal Associate will be responsible for conducting comprehensive legal research, preparing briefs for senior counsel, drafting pleadings and other legal documents, reviewing contracts, providing well-reasoned legal advice, and representing the firm in proceedings before the Supreme Court, High Court, and various District Courts in Delhi. QUALIFICATIONS- 

If you wish to apply for the position of Legal Associate at our Law office, the required qualifications are as follows-

1. Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or equivalent; enrollment with the Bar Council is mandatory
2. 3–5 years of relevant legal experience (Candidates who have previously interned with us (long term internship) may be considered with lesser experience, if vacancy is available). 
3. Strong legal research and drafting skills.
4. Excellent command of spoken and written English. 

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES-

1. Appear before the Supreme Court, High Court, various District Courts in Delhi and other courts and tribunals as well including- Consumer Courts, CAT, DRT etc. and manage client communications.
2. Assist in legal research, drafting, and preparation of case files. 
3. Support senior legal counsels in case strategy and litigation
4. Draft pleadings and legal documents, review contracts and other similar tasks.
5. Drafting for publications including blogs, articles, research papers and books
